There are chances of admission in COE Pune. You will have to take part in the Maharashtra admission counselling I suppose.
DTU (formerly DCE) has not published last year’s cut offs, but chances are around average going by your AIR (assuming at least the the top 6000 candidates will take admission in IITs, NITs, and go for PSU jobs; next 3000 would go to top state colleges). If you are applying to DTU, I would suggest you also apply to NSIT, and BITS Pilani.
@Subhasis_Panigrahy The top 10 NITs are as follows.
- National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Andhra Pradesh)
- National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli (Tamil Nadu)
- National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Mangalore (Karnataka)
- National Institute of Technology, Delhi (Delhi)
- Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (Uttar Pardesh)
- Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (Rajasthan)
- National Institute of Technology, Calicut (Kerala)
- Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (Maharashtra)
- National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (Haryana)
- National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (Orissa)
Placements vary every year, and a lot depends on your performance in the two years of study. However, college reputation wise, these colleges can offer a better platform for placements, compared to some others.
@SAGAR_PATIL You can get NIT Rourkela, NIT Raipur, NIT Kurukshetra, MNIT Jaipur in the first two rounds . There are chances of getting NIT Surathkal and other top three NITs in round 3. In CCMT, definitely keep the top NITs in top list, as you have pretty decent chances of getting in!
@kiranvpti Good score! Congrats! In NIT Warangal, EE closed at 676 last year. However, the overall scores have dropped this year so you have very high chances of getting admission. Do you have any specialization preference at the moment? Regarding IITs - I would strongly advise you to apply to all the relevant IITs that provide your required specialization as your score is quite good, and so is your AIR.
@Karan_Singh CS in NIT Warangal closed at around 550 last year, so you have quite strong chances of getting admission. IITs - like I have told kiranvapti above, you too should apply to all the relevant IITs that provide your required specialization. In IISc, Computational science cut off goes around 550, so there also you have good chances! Best of luck! Don’t forget to let us know where all you have applied.
@Karthik_Sajjeev You could get WR or TA in NIT Hamirpur, EV in NIT KKR. If you want to go for Structural, you can go for M.Tech PhD Dual degree in Structural Engineering in NIT Patna. Fourth round is often unpredictable so can’t say definitely what will happen there. Chances are above average in the good NITs.
@Abir_Khanna Please mention your branch.
@Tarun_Sahni Good rank! In my opinion, you can get NIT Surat, VNIT Nagpur, IIITA, MNIT Jaipur, MANIT Bhopal in the first two rounds.
@Rishabh_Sharma Good score! You can get MNIT Jaipur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur.
@tripty_kumari In CCMT, you could keep the top NITs in the top preferences, and move down with the other NITs and other specializations. You can get NIt Silchar, MNIT Jaipur, NIT Agartala, NIT Arunachal Pradesh.
